Give your best guess about how long Washington stays under military lockdown?

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      Define ‘military lockdown’.

      You were warned.

        Fences and troops.

            You're happy with that?

              No.

There are still troops at JFK. 20 years on.

              You were warned.

But to be fair, I wouldn’t call fences and troops ‘military lockdown’.

                You were warned.

Yeah it's really not a "lockdown." Like at all.

                  Please love yourself.

Fencing is a bit of a one-way ratchet.

May 20 1995, President Bill Clinton closed Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House to all vehicular traffic, a security response to the Oklahoma City bombing.

                      That remains a mess, forever.

I want to be able to walk up to the Capitol and take a self-guided walking tour with nobody saying anything to me and no security checkpoints to walk through.

And on a Saturday morning I want to park right at the foot of the Capitol steps, without passing through any kind of security checkpoint.

That is how it was for most of the times I went there.
