To the larger point of kids adversely impacted by COVID one way or another it is a real problem for sure. That said the list of legitimate requests for money keeps getting larger and larger so while the report is compelling it has to be weighed against all funding requests. Free healthcare, free education, reparations, re-education of white people, free rent, free food, explosion of immigrants, better detention centers and on and on and on.

Added context, save the children has revenues of less than 1 million a year. Seems like they are very small with big vision but narrow reach.
