It's a little town you've probably never heard of. But if you bought an azalea at Lowes or a potted plant at Walmart, there was a good chance it came from one of the 200 plant nurseries scattered through the red clay hills.

You might not be buying those plants this year...Between Hurricane Laura and the ice storm, things look grim...

Going to work every day I caught the subway in Boston at Forest Hills station.

Later I regularly caught the Eastern Shuttle at LaGuardia airport - just down the street from Forest Hills.
