Peter, said a better name would be “Melania Lake” because, as a native of Slovenia, another former Yugoslav territory, the former first lady is at least a Slav and, unlike Mr. Trump, probably knows where Kosovo is.

@bachophile that's almost as funny as when Sir Paul McCartney, during a concert at the White House for the Obamas, said that "It's nice to have a president who knows where the library is."
Apparently, Sir Paul was ignorant of the fact that the First Lady was a librarian, and the president and his chief of staff had a book-reading contest. At least the comment about Trump came from a bartender, not a Knight of the Realm.
But, they both make nice narratives.

Nearly the same story was reported months ago. I am trying to figure out why the NYT thought it was newsworthy to rebroadcast. Didn’t see anything new? Any guesses?
