Thinking about this, China has a ton of experience stamping out competing ideologies. If past is prologue they will succeed.
Hong Kong is a new example, Taiwan is coming.Homogenous culture important for economic expansion and border protection.
It is good to be Han.

True. It will be "subtle" if it happens. Maybe start by taking over Kinmen and Matsu islands.....
