          Correct.

          And that's why I think it beat out the Brazilian plane. Pilots are familiar with it, mechanics are familiar with it and we already have many of the parts. My understanding is that the Phillipines are quite interested in it, so that would give Beechcraft a production line and overseas sales.

          Of course, the Pentagon Zoomies hate it. It ain't a jet, doesn't go Mach 2, doesn't cost a Bazillion dollars and isn't sexy like a F-35. If not for SOCOM pitching a hissy, the Zoomies would have killed it.

            If not for the agreement about fixed wing, I bet the Army would love it.

            It fits a lot of the mission profile of the old Bronco, but with a lot more ordinance.
