I listened to him a couple of weeks ago.

No, Rush was bombastic, but he was not a nutter. He wasn't 100% right, but he helped restart the Conservative movement and molded it for many years.

And most people who actually knew him, said he was not loud or brash in person.

I enjoyed listening to him.

It seemed to me that this occasion demanded that my testimony about the effects of the disease, and the urgency we as a community were feeling, be seen as well as heard. I'm all for stem cell research. I understand what Parkinson's looks like. Rush was wrong there.
