Greenwald: The lies about January 6.

@jon-nyc what I want to know is how many armed protesters were found inside the Capitol. Plus, the fact that so many protesters were armed and didn’t fire speaks highly to the fact that this wasn’t an attempt at a violent overthrow of the government.
I don't know if any armed protesters were in the Capitol.
Do we have any facts on that?

Yeah, let’s leave out in their car as a variable. So, where are the reports arrested with a weapon on their person inside the barricade?

Nope, that doesn’t quite cut it either. They need to have been arrested with the weapons in them while in the building.

But we're still going to make fun of "mostly peaceful," aren't we? Of course we are.

Dominican Inquisitors among the rioters.
Just because somebody has bad hair and has never known a woman, this does not necessarily mean he is a Dominican Inquisitor.

Still, he looked suspicious and gave other people the evil eye.

I've noticed people rejecting the "coup" and "insurrection" rhetoric, and that rejection getting turned, rhetorically, into a slavish devotion to a conservative tribe.

If they were we would have seen Ms. Pelosi and Ms. AOC posing with them.

If they were arresting so many people with firearms and Molina, then it just makes the actions (or lack of them) taken by Capitol Officials, the Police, and Muriel Bowser all the more shocking and reprehensible.

You may have inadvertently stumbled across a common talking point for the BLM crowd and the Trump crowd. Disdain for law enforcement.

That, and a dislike of vaccinations.

The Trump crowd has disdain for law enforcement?
I watched white liberals on WTF talk about defunding police as if it were a serious concept. I also watched some who discussed their own children joining the riots. Proudly. These are obviously broken people and I feel sorry for them, and their children.
What is your claim, that the right and left have an equal disdain for law enforcement? You don't believe that. So why imply it?

The equalization of all ideas becomes lame. It's a common theme here. There are psychological differences between people.

You're probably right.

Firearms and other “deadly or dangerous” weapons ...
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/capitol-riot-weapons-deadly-dangerous/It is not clear how many may have carried firearms during the siege because the majority of riot defendants were not arrested the day of the attack,
How odd. They were in the building, attempting an insurrection of our very democracy, and they weren't even detained? What are we, Canada?

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/capitol-riot-weapons-deadly-dangerous/Read the story carefully. Three people are accused of carrying firearms into the Capitol. Nobody has proved they carried them in there or not. And if they did carry them in there, were they unholstered?
