    Sen. Lindsey Graham:

    That was inexcusable.

As was confronting Sarah Sanders in a restaurant.

    Or Former Secretary Betsy DeVos.

    Or Senator Paul.

I blame Maxine Waters' incitement to violence.

McConnell is an unpopular political hack who destroys the Republican side of the Senate, according to Trump.

. .. Trump went after Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), calling the Senate minority leader “a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack.”

In a lengthy statement on Tuesday, Trump said that McConnell was “destroying the Republican side of the Senate” and that the senator was ”one of the most unpopular politicians in the United States.”

“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm,” Trump said.

Well at least that contemptible two bit sonofabitch Trump is consistent.

        Elbows up!

Just follows on the heels of Mitch dropping like a rock in Kentucky polls.

Actually, I think Thune dropped more...

            @Axtremus

That’s a long and bombastic way of saying, “I was the first president to lose the White House, House of Representatives, and Senate in one term since Herbert Hoover, but Mitch McConnell is the real loser.”

            Only non-witches get due process.

What when the gulf between what gets you votes and your principles gets too big?

Also - Trump and McConnell ending this whole thing in a childish spat is just a bit too on the nose.

One more also - Trump used the word “dour”?

Son, if politicians had principles, they wouldn't be politicians.

So, what was Bill Cassidy’s angle?

Yeah, that seems a little unlikely.

In fact, the whole thing looks as though it was written by somebody else.

                    I was only joking
