We saw this on Shark Tank one night and it looked like a good idea. So, guess what shows up under my tree this year.. a Fry Wall!

So I tried it last night when searing the lamb. It works beautifully. And since my stove is a COLOSSAL PITA to clean, this will save me cleanup time when searing or sauteing.

@mik I had thought about getting one of those, but it slipped my mind.

Keep us posted on how you like it - I may spring for one!

ETA: I have a "spatter shield" screen, but it's a pain to use, and a pain to clean as well.

      Interesting, but...

Are they made for specific brands of pan, and if not, how well do they fit?

      Doesn’t that impede flipping?

      Only non-witches get due process.

Jon, they are made in different pan diameters. I used the 10" on a 12" pan and it worked fine. You would have more room with a 12" Fry Wall, but I seldom use the 12" pans.

It really doesn't get in your way unless you would have to get a long spatula in like the fish flipper I have, but I think it is manageable because the wall is silicone and very flexible. For most meats I use tongs anyway, and I would not be searing fish at the same screaming hot temps.

I'm making pot roast tonight, and I wanted to sear it before putting it in the Instant Pot. I used the "Fry Wall" for searing.

So simple, so good, so effective.

Much easier to throw it in the dishwasher than to degrease the stovetop. Glad you like it!

I need to measure hubby's favorite fry pan and get one of these. Heck, I want one for every fry pan we have.

I suspect you can get away with only one. Buy the largest one they have to offer. Cut it open. Adjust size to fit whichever fry pan you decide to use. Use a couple of strips of painter‘s tape to fix the size, just need to hold long enough for one cooking session. Easier to fit around the dishwasher too once you cut it open.

Nice stuff. You can buy a good looking silk tie for not a lot of money. But a cheap tie shines like a sartorial bat signal screaming for help.

Frugal is good, but keep in mind there are still priorities, such as two dishwashers, three ovens, a 30-quart Hobart, ......

That's why I stick to hiking pants, sandals, and t-shirts with goofy shit printed on them. It's at least more on-the-level than a Wal-Mart tie.

                          Please love yourself.
