By coincidence, I was just reading another ass-relating article on the BBL:

      https://nypost.com/2021/02/13/daughter-of-lombardi-trophy-designer-wants-apology-from-tom-brady/

During the Buccaneers’ boat parade on the Hillsborough River to celebrate Tampa Bay’s Super Bowl 2021 victory over the Chiefs, the 43-year-old quarterback tossed the Lombardi Trophy from his yacht to someone on another boat.

That upset [Lorraine] Grohs, who is the daughter of Greg Grohs, . . . the master silversmith who crafted the first Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Now, Grohs wants Brady to say he’s sorry.

“It just upset me that this trophy was disgraced and disrespected by being thrown as if it was a real football,” Lorraine Grohs told Fox4.

You want to make up rules for the trophy?

I can understand the feeling - but by a certain age most adults have learned not to share every feeling with the world at large.

              It's a replica, people.

First, that was the real trophy, not some replica or replacement given to players for partying purposes. Second, as Simms (who lived in Tampa) pointed out on Thursday’s PFT Live, the water in that area of the Hillsborough River is 80 feet deep.

It would have only represented a small percentage of the trophies he'd won.
