Pheasant?

I see that Wild Fork has pheasant available.
We used to have pheasant once in a blue moon and Mrs. George enjoyed it.
Does anyone have any good recipes for pheasant (whole bird)?

Simple seasoning - S&P, let the bird's flavor be paramount. Maybe some nutty wild or brown rice and a green vegetable to go with it.

My Malamute just invented a great recipe for 45 day dry aged prime porterhouse steak. First, wait for your human to defrost it, salt it, and put it on the counter somewhere he thinks is safe. Serve immediately.

Tastes like chicken, maybe slightly spoiled chicken. . . ?
Lights just flickered. We're at the beginning of a winter storm here in what's left of PDX. Freezing rain started a couple of hours ago, supposed to turn to snow this evening.
I'm mostly prepared. I've got a couple of flashlights, but no idea where there might be batteries. Probably in a closet. I'll check in a while. Actually, it's smart to wait to find the emergency stuff, wait until the power goes out. Nothing else to do with no eelectrisity, might as well crawl around looking for batteries and maybe find a chicken.Wish I had a pheasant. You can eat those raw, or so I've heard. Raw pheasant tastes like chicken. Raw chicken tastes like pheasant.
Crazy world, that's for sure. -

I don't think I've ever had pheasant.
I have, however, known a number of pheasant pluckers.
