Trump haters are having such a field day with their rhetoric around the buffoons who walked through the open doors of the Capitol and vandalized the place. "Coup", "insurrection". You'll never convince me that they aren't secretly thrilled that it happened.

I will feel more comfortable with a real trial. This blast of evidence every day is a pretty funny way of adjudicating something.
But of course impeachment is a political and not a legal process. So let’s not think this in legal terms. There are no rules of evidence that I can tell. It’s trebuchet loading and launching.
