That I can see.
But when one starts calling people vermin one has crossed over into looney land. Jon said he would do this until inauguration. That was two weeks ago and he's still got his head firmly up his ass.

I’m not watching or reading about any of the impeachment. I already know how the movie ends and I already know the plot line and the evidence.

“ Senate declares Trump impeachment constitutional, allowing trial to proceed”
Good to know... We can disband the courts now.

Can anybody point me to a good timeline of the day? Trump begins speech at x, finishes at x, congressmen begin votes at x are interrupted at x. Are taken into protective areas at x, barricades breached at x, etc...?

@Jolly , how do you like Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) now? He voted “yea” for the impeachment trial to move forward. That’s a new “yea” from Senate Republicans to move the impeachment trial along.

Dr. Cassidy will vote no, come time for the impeachment vote. I know he's not running again, but they'd burn his home down if he voted yes.

It's a shame that justice cannot prevail because someone has so many constituents. It's a shame that a your average congressman votes, not with his conscience, but with the thought of how many voters will turn on him and hurt his reelection chances. Congress is dysfunctional.

Of course all the Democrats are voting their conscience.

Nah. If anything it shows that Trump intended it to be peaceful.
But your TDS won't allow you to see that.
You may start screeching now.
I don’t think he wanted or foresaw the violence (pure conjecture).
But failure to see this as a reasonably possible outcome - given his rhetoric and actions - reflects poorly on his decision making.

When the vote is along party lines, justice is not really part of the consideration

Justice left Washington in 2016.

That's not the whole story. It has for some time been the case that Congressmen often receive physical threats and, more key, physical threats against their families, from disgruntled morons on social media. Now that we've been treated to some of these celebrants invading the US Capitol and waving guns around and screaming 'where is she!', that's easier to believe, isn't it?

My mistake; it was law enforcement.
