I'm literally glued to my seat with excitement.
Well, OK, it's not actually glue, and I'm not actually watching the game.

I don’t watch either. But I get the drama this year with the old guy that moved to Florida.

It is presumptuous to assume that Tom Brady, as of this exact moment, still identifies as a man. You are probably correct that he is an old "guy", but in my opinion we should call him an old "person".

I know that Super Bowl is some kind of big sport event, but I couldn't say whether it's football or baseball or basketball or whatnot.

My thinking about a lot of things has changed since Trump's election. Much of it I haven't sorted out yet. One of them, weirdly, is my opinion about football. I've always respected the game and its following, in a distant sort of way, but didn't personally care much about it. Now I do. I want to learn more about it and become a fan.
