“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Suicide by cop is ok sometimes.

      Education is extremely important.

        That's 12 rounds, close range.

Hm. I know this is not a popular opinion in the (conservative part of the) US, but I'm not sure I find the use of deadly force appropriate in this situation. The man who attacks looks mentally deranged. Nothing we see looks like the policeman's life was threatened. If this would have been a knife, OK. But a rotten stick?? Maybe there's more to this story than what the video shows, but I can't help but think that there would have been a way to defuse this situation that would not have involved a dead body.

The cop showed a lot of restraint. When the man kept advancing in the face of a weapon and especially when he raised that stick, I would have shot him.

And after about the first three, the next ones would have been in his face.

Now, if backup had been there and it would have been two cops or more, different story. Or if the officer carried a tazer and had time to use it, different story.
