In 1996, I built a 20x30 shop. I did the dirtwork, I set the forms and I put in a lot more steel than in this video. I hired the concrete finisher. I framed the walls and built the trusses from wood cut from my trees. My exterior walls were 5/8" T-111. Roof was 1/2" OSB, 1 5 pound felt with asphalt shingles. I built a 10' drop shed on the back. Door was a 16' roll-up, side door was a 36" steel exterior door.

Total cost was about $3500.

This cost almost $20k.
