    The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

      No big surprises but mainly good news. I would think that 2020 will be even better with the much reduced movement of people.

      Just need to get mainland china doing what it should.

      (I was surprised to see Australia in the list of increases)

        @taiwan_girl fear not!

        Once "Energy Czar" Kerry arrives in Beijing and Sydney (presumably in his private jet), he will set them straight!

          Trump was right to take us out of it. The only reason we should be in it is to put pressure on China, Russia, etc.

            @mik said in The Paris Agreement and the Climate Crisis:

            And you think Trump was right to take said pressure off China and Russia?

              Does it have anything to do with the Climate?

              If it does, then there is nothing left for the USA to do.

              Except maybe to graciously accept the thanks and praise for our good work.

              Beyond that we should just quietly maintain our lead.

                BTW, anybody notice that due to less particulate matter and CO2 in the atmosphere last year (less human activity because of COVID) less solar rays were reflected and global temperatures rose?

                  @jolly It is not like a "switch". Think of it like a big train. You can start the brakes on the train, but the train will continue to move forward for a period of time.
