Fridge Purge Dinner

I had a lot of leftover stuff sitting around. So I thought 'pasta sauce'
Made a kind of Spanish pasta sauce with tomatoes, garlic, onion, smoked paprika, leftover chorizo and andouille sausage. A little wine, olive oil, butter and salt and it's turning out great. All leftovers except the pasta.

Perfect! That's a great use for that group of ingredients, and I bet it will be even better tomorrow, if there is any left. We call those a 'free' meal, because it's dabs of things that might not be useful in a few days, and would otherwise be wasted.

It was quite delicious, plenty left for a lunch. More leftovers!
The sauce with smoked paprika rather than basil or Italian herbs was excellent.
Fresh blackberries for dessert. Yum.

Nope. just in the oven.
Brined it most of the day. It was juicy and perfectly salty.
I had thawed out the last of the leftover cranberry sauce but I didn't want to use it.
