OK, what am I missing here, Rudy?
-
Kind of a shame what’s become of him.
-
Is this really where we are? Are we going to have states try to build test and trace capability only to have senior presidential advisers actively undermine it?
-
Looked like mocking sarcasm to me, like let’s boil the ocean while we are at it.
But yeah many cancers and heart disease can be traced to lifestyle choices, our work environment and other environmental factors...and they kill a lot of people. Like car deaths, opioid deaths, malnutrition, guns...

@Mik said in OK, what am I missing here, Rudy?:
Gosh, Loki, I would have never thought of that.
I know the point is sarcasm is well understood until it comes from the other side. It’s sarcasm all the time ... until the other side says it and suddenly we need new warning labels.

@Mik said in OK, what am I missing here, Rudy?:
Sarcasm has very little place in national crises. It was a stupid thing to say.
It was but there is a lot of stupid stuff being said by a lot of people right now. Sarcasm has no place from our President but Rudy doesn’t even hold office and we could quote stupid things said all day long by many Congress critters and their leaders.

Yes, and I don't like it from them. It's time for serious people to be bringing serious solutions, not soundbites for clickbait.
Good point. It’s as if Fox and CNN/MSNBC etal are playing a tit for tat war of tribal escalation.

Actually, I thought Rudy lost the plot in that interview. If you notice, the Fox interviewer appeared to be rather nonplussed by what he said. I don't think he understands what tracing is for.
