The general vibe I get from the right regarding the events of last week is that none of this is any big deal at all. Even though we have to wait for the FBI to finish its investigation to truly know how bad the events were, they still weren't as bad as whatever I want to bring up about BLM. Because wagon-circling.

Indeed, I too have been told that for the most part, they were concerned citizens, patriots and libertarians. Individually, hardly a bad egg in the lot. Hell, even the Fred Flintstone shaman character, lives on a regimen diet of organic food - or so, at least, his momma says.

I kind of feel like there's a little bit of Sleight of Hand here... Everybody is preoccupied with the buffoon in the viking hat, the guy carrying off the lectern, and the doofus sitting in Pelosi's chair and stealing her stationary and we're ignoring the sincerely bad actors that walked off with laptops, iPads, and other devices filled with classified and sensitive information. This impacts our national security. I'm also willing to bet that the guys that walked off with this stuff weren't running around wearing flag paraphernalia and Don't Tread on Me shirts, but were probably in suit and tie or uniform and looked like they belonged there and would not have been stopped...
