These guys showed up on the 6th ready for some sort of show, will Inauguration Day be heavily guarded, curfews, shops boarded up?
Is the worst of this over? (In the short term)

It already is. DC and MD national guard haven't even left, and others in MD and VA will be placed as close to the border as possible. An assload of MD troopers will be ready to pitch in, along with VA police.
I'm pretty sure the city is aware that the entire world is going to be interested in the events of this particular inauguration.
