Anybody watching the Jack Ryan series with Krasinski?

Maybe we've had a thread about this before. I'm trying to make my way through it. They so deliberately humanise both sides of this America vs the Middle East narrative, it gets a little nauseating. I get it, everybody who dies has kids and really really loves them. Let's not spend half of every episode establishing that.
