    538’s analysis:

    https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-polices-tepid-response-to-the-capitol-breach-wasnt-an-aberration/amp/

As with most things 538 does, they try to go well beyond the anecdotes and bring big data into their analysis.

Interesting but hard to analyze. Not everything has data which can be put into a nice box for an answer.

The thing that bothers me is that when you start getting into this, it starts talking like the police, regardless of location or demonstration, are some sort of "one group" that goes the same way regardless.

I just dont think that is the case. Each case is unique and certain things that occur are not so easy to identify.

Yes, of course, humans have bias. There is no doubt. But every police does not have the same bias and they do not all act the same

When do the comparisons start as to how the BLM protesters are treated by the legal system when they break the law?

When do we see how the cops let the protesters loot and pillage all the retail establishments.

I don’t think my mind is playing tricks on me when I say the article has a narrow point of view.

It starts with a thesis and only presents info to support it.

This is not an analysis but a stump speech.
