I'm sure Renauda can wax eloquent about the superiority of the political parties in the land of the maple leaf.

My many Canadian relatives are not terribly enamored of the current lot.

I'd love to see a wedge driven between blacks and the Dems. If you take a look at much of the black community, they are socially conservative, religious and seek upward social mobility.

I think they fit better in the GOP, than in today's Dem party.

          I would agree with that.

Have you confused this guy with Van Jones?

Why do you think most members of the black community identify as Democrats other the Republican then? There is roughly about 10x more Black Americans who identify as Democrats than there are Black Americans who identify as Republicans.

@Axtremus Any black person who identifies as republican will tell you how much social pressure there is against that. Still, the numbers as a percentage are growing. That should tell you something.

                      Education is extremely important.

                        A couple of things...

                        1. The black community is a tight community. Community members are loathe to appear as being too white or be deemed Oreos. Sometimes, they go along to get along. LBJ said he would have them voting Dem for 100 years...Maybe he was right.

                        2. Many inner city blacks are chained to the Gibmedat Plantation.
