D. All of the aboveIt isn't about "agreeing with Trump".
It's about the fact that republicans have never stuck together on anything.

See the Contract With America. Had they done what was promised we would have a much healthier nation. Newt was right on.

Isn't it interesting that so much of politics is about "ownership" and/or the definition of a word?
Who is a true republican?
Who is a true male/female?
What is "rape"?
What is "life"?
What is "American"?
What is "fascist"?
Etc.

Definitions are very precise with mathematics, the hard sciences and engineering, so less argument there.
Definitions get murkier with the social sciences and the arts, so more argument there.

It's arguable that the real RINO is Donald Trump.
Discuss....

@axtremus That is terrible. There is a way to have a disagreement with people without going to things like that.
(BTW, I would hate to be married to a lady like that who kept yelling, swearing, etc.)
And before anybody says anything, I know that there was a similar situation with Senator McConnell, and it was terrible at that time when the left side was doing it to him.
It is not "construction", does not accomplish anything, and makes me mad!!

McConnell is an unpopular political hack who destroys the Republican side of the Senate, according to Trump.

. .. Trump went after Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), calling the Senate minority leader “a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack.”In a lengthy statement on Tuesday, Trump said that McConnell was “destroying the Republican side of the Senate” and that the senator was ”one of the most unpopular politicians in the United States.”
“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm,” Trump said.

What when the gulf between what gets you votes and your principles gets too big?
Also - Trump and McConnell ending this whole thing in a childish spat is just a bit too on the nose.
One more also - Trump used the word “dour”?

Son, if politicians had principles, they wouldn't be politicians.
