About our shitty vaccine rollout

Imagine in October the military setting up a distribution system and decisions made who gets it and clinics popping up in anticipation.
Back in October Trump was himself recovering from COVID-19 and was too busy putting up not masked, not social-distanced, COVID-19 spreading campaign rallies rather than working on vaccine distribution plans.

Oh I remember the ridicule about a vaccine being anywhere near ready. It was a big fat lie and joke. You know it, you believed it, now live with the consequences and share in the blame for why we are where we are.

No one wanted or believed a vaccine could come out timely just to stop Trump from being president. Now live with that karma that was created.
The karma is for putting the ignorant, incompetent, misinformation spouting Trump in the White House. A Hillary or a Jeb Bush or even a G.W. Bush or a Chris Christie would have done way better in terms of setting the right priorities, messaging public health guidelines, and setting the right examples in following public health guidelines.

You're making that up. By late summer the expectation was a vaccine by the end of the year. What people objected to was Trump moving a vaccine, any vaccine, up before Nov 1 just to serve his personal electoral interest.

Well then everything will change in a few weeks. Biden has been in government for 47 years and his teams most certainly have all the plans getting ready to roll. Celebrate we are so so close to greatness!!!

Ain't what I was reading. People were saying before the end of the year was just pie in the sky.

Yeah. There was universal disinterest and distrust not so long ago. And now it’s what the fuck??? And it’s done with a straight face.

Never underestimate the ability of adult humans to swim through life on the currents of socially enabled shamelessness. Shame is for children, or for people who blatantly break the law. There is no shame for people who are careful to fashion their opinions after those propagated by MSM pop culture. It truly does not matter how wrong they ever prove to be. This is humanity.

I wouldn't beat up the military. It is a logistical nightmare to coordinate a zillion junction points with myriad players involved. This makes D-day seem like a day at the beach. Distribution systems broke down for everything because of stresses of a holiday season and increased use of those same channels for holiday shopping. I think it is amazing that we got the vaccines on the timeline we did - and I fully expect more issues moving forward - i.e. people refusing vaccines, idiots screwing things up.

I didn’t realize we were rolling out shitty vaccines in addition to the Pfizer and modern vaccines.
