    From the article:

Eighteen percent of the survey's respondents named Trump as their most admired man, compared to 15 percent who named Obama”
    ...
“Pollsters surveyed 1,018 adults from Dec. 1 to 17. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.”

Three points of interests to note:

    1. Trump loses the election before he’s recognized as “the most admired man”.
    2. Recognized as such in only one out of four years in office, Trump is the worst performer among his cohorts in this series of polls.
    3. Even then, Trump’s margin is smaller than the poll’s margin of error; statically it may well be a tie or even a loss for Trump.

One major point of interest...Trump was the most admired man.

      Enjoy.

I’d like to see year-on-year. I’ll bet most of Biden’s 6 pts were Obama’s in previous years.

My own theory about these most-admired polls: A significant number of people queried have no idea how to answer the question but they don't want to look stupid, so they quick search their memories for names they've seen around in the press, and offer one of those. They know little and care less about prominent names, barely know who's president.

Example: HClinton, Most Admired Woman. Get outta town, really?

18% of Americans choosing him from a predetermined list (or someone you don’t know), is not surprising in the least. If you could say “my dad” or something, then this is just sad.

He needlessly holds out on signing the stimulus and government funding bill, he continues to sow chaos and destruction in his final days. He escapes from reality to golf and stroke his fragile ego with coup attempts and grossly unethical pardons. Meanwhile, Americans are dying from COVID-19. The 2020 election showed that the majority of Americans know what some Republican politicians won't admit: Trump is bigoted and self-absorbed. His churlish, spiteful behavior shows his concern is only for himself.

                Yup, so admirable.

How do you know the vote wasn't rigged?

C'mon, guys, lets see some evidence. It stands to reason everybody thinks Trump is a prick, so this vote makes absolutely no sense.

@doctor-phibes How does it stand to reason? The guy won the presidency and almost won it again. I don't find the 18% surprising at all. If anything it is a bit low.

@Larry, voter fraud committed by Trump supporter for Trump:

In this case the perpetrator have admitted to a District Attorney that he illegally casted a vote for Donal Trump using his dead relative’s name. The perpetrator’s own lawyer has also admitted as much publicly.
