Yesterday, we published our second iteration of estimates of when states may be able to consider easing currently implemented social distancing policies if – and only if – strong containment measures already have been instituted. Results from today’s release (April 22) are highlighted in the map below and are found in the online visualization tool.

I'm not sure I understand the criteria for the relaxation map and I think distancing is still a very good idea. I would think the shelter in place would be the first to drop. But I think MFR and I are going to have to learn to cut hair.

If I were governor I'd think this through at a county level. There are a lot of rural counties in NY that could relax sooner than Queens.
