That stained glass is from Mrs. George's parents' house. It was in bad bad shape, and we had it restored.
Our living room has three west-facing windows. The one you see is in the center window. We have two of these as well, and they're in the windows to the left and right of center.

Very pretty -
There was a time when you could buy stained glass kits. I was never good at cutting glass, and these kits were perfect for a tinker-er like me. All the glass was pre-cut, and all you had to do is cut the lead came, solder away.
I really enjoyed doing these, and I have a couple of mirror kits I made, as well as a couple of stained-glass lamps.
