Hey George
-
In four years, I attended perhaps 8-12 games (tickets were free for students, of course). It was enjoyable enough as an event, but I never got invested in the "Go Wildcats!" stuff. It was OK, but...whatever.
I had a friend, a very good friend, who lived about a mile west of
Dyche StadiumAllen Field. He and i attended the games together. One very cold December day, we were at the game, which was being broadcast on ABC. During halftime, we were freezing our asses off, and we looked at each other and said, "Wouldn't it be better if we went back to your house, popped a beer, and watched the 2nd half on TV, where it's warm, and 'the seats' are better?"
That's what we did. It was much more enjoyable Saturday afternoon that way.
