I approve of the O'Hare tweet. I thought it was sweet.

Though I will say I find railroad stations more romantic than airports. Vivien Leigh in a cool hat walking through the steam, etc.

I've spent many hours of my life standing here, in a manner very reminiscent of Omar Sharif looking out across the desert at sunset...ahhhhh, Warrington Bank Quay, the beauty of the surroundings only matched by the scent drifting across from the Manchester Ship Canal and adjacent Unilever soap factory.

For the past few years, airports have become hell. I have friends who work for the airlines - feel for them. It's a very different world these days.

I actually like airports and travel in general. The "anticipation" of going somewhere, etc. So, I kind of agree with the statement of the romance of airports.
I always have a good book, and can pass the time pretty easily. When i travel alot, have access to the lounges, so not a real burden. I would hate to add up the total amount of hours I have spend in airports. LOL
