Los Angeles County reports nearly 13,000 new coronavirus cases, biggest one-day increase on record
Compare that to NY State:
Of the 197,406 tests reported yesterday, 10,178, or 5.15 percent, were positive. There were 994 patients in ICU yesterday, up 42 from the previous day. Of them, 539 are intubated. Sadly, we lost 92 New Yorkers to the virus.
