When does Biden get COVID?
Just asking for a friend who wants to laugh his ass off...

Hopefully never. My guess is he'll be vaccinated before the end of the year.

Giuliani appears to be doing very well.

I suspect no one would have expected the outcomes we have seen on the old, in bad health GOP Covid positives.

True though I’m sure friends of Trump jump the queue for experimental and limited treatments.
Also they’re tested often enough to catch it early, which is when treatments like Regeneron shine.

Giuliani tested Positive Sunday and self reports largely asymptomatic today. Dexamethasone and Remdesivir is what they say. Nevertheless what ever it is it’s in miracle time with cheap drugs. Seems like it should be more available to others.
The key it seems as you point out to jump on it. -

I am okay with that. However, I dont know if Mr. Guiliani is an official government person now, or President Trump's lawyer in a private capacity.

PA Governor Tom Wolf says he tested positive.
“During a routine test yesterday, I tested positive for COVID-19,” the governor said in a public statement. “I have no symptoms and am feeling well. I am following CDC and Department of Health guidelines.”

Giuliani said this afternoon symptoms are nearly gone.
It’s just remarkable how well the politicians are doing and how fast they are recovering and how many are asymptomatic . Herman Cain is the obvious exception.
Yet we all know people that we thought were in better shape and younger age who aren’t doing this well.

I know a 94 year old woman that had minor cold symptoms and was fine without any medicine. This isn’t that surprising. The vast majority of people don’t have serious symptoms or complications no matter their age. The cases like George’s daughter are the very rare exception. The cases like Trav are a little more common, and 80% have symptoms like Lucas or less.

I’m not saying this crap isn’t dangerous, I’m just saying the danger is more on the macro/societal level and less on the individual personal level. If you catch this disease, there’s a 60/40 chance you will ever have a symptom. If you do have a symptom, it’s 20/80 that it’s worse than a mild cold or seasonal allergies and so on...
What does make this crap so bad is the virility. You have 250,000 cases a day popping up? Then those .5% - 1%numbers start becoming a huge frigging problem. And the fact that she’s in the rare 1%-2% that have issues isn’t much consolation to D4 and others facing a months long recovery...
