The fun thing about TNCR

And by TNCR, I mean "The new NEW coffee room."
In the last couple of days, I've started a thread about the spread of the virus in Milwaukee...and it devolved into a discussion of eyeglasses/contact lenses.
I've started a thread about fanny packs, and it devolved into a discussion (dominated by me) of hawt nurses.
I've started a discussion about a guy who built a trestle for his live-steam railroad in his backyard, and devolved into a discussion about houses owned by mobsters.
And....no one complained.
It's like a bunch of weirdo relatives sitting at the table, and no one bats an eye when the conversation goes off on a wild tangent.

And I took a cat to the vet last week for the first time in my life.
I should be shot.

See my comment about "weirdo relatives."

And I have to continue to take you seriously after you did that?

Sir, if I tell you a flea can pull a wagon, you go find a tiny horse-collar and a miniscule set of reins.

You started a thread about the forum and it ended up being about fleas.
Scratch scratch

Scratching? Could be fleas. Could be Pthirus pubis.
As a doctor, you know the best way to rid yourself of those, involves lighter fluid, a razor and an ice pick. Shave one half of your pubic hair, douse the remaining hair in lighter fluid and set it on fire. Use the ice pick to stab the crabs as they run for their life.
Works every time.

Does anyone know a good meatball recipe?

I used to make venison meatballs. We went hunting with my uncle until he died (mauled by a cat he took to the vet). Good times. We sat around the camp and played Euchre.
Anybody play Euchre?

It's really a shame Diego Maradonna died so soon. Argentinia is such a beautiful country. Any recommendations on the best time to travel there?

I'm okay with it! I know a guy that if you don't stick to the subject heading of the email, he gets irritated, and makes a stink on email about how I should have not written something that was not on the original subject. This guy is retired too, and not busy so don't know why he needs everything categorized. For example, I think the original subject was answered, and then I asked, "and how are you doing?" That irritated this guy, as he responded that I should have started a different email.
So yes, random changing subjects from the original start of the email can be okay with me! -

There is a group in the neighborhood that is trying to start up a eucre club at the HOA clubhouse. Mask wearing is unlikely. They are just begging for some covid.

Or possibly the 1940's.
