Last year I moved to Smithfield and started playing golf here.

It took me 86 rounds, roughly 4 months, to birdie 17 of the 18 holes.

228 rounds and 11 months later, today, I birdied the 4th hole, finally.

A nice Drive, drive again from the fairway, 9 iron and a putt, maybe 12 feet, birdie, easy.

I hope it doesn't take 314 rounds to do it again.

Some follow-up

It took me 314 tries before I finally birdied the 4th hole 9 days ago.

As you might expect,

I birdied it again yesterday.

And again today.

Golf is a funny game.
