I hate when that happens. Cannot tell you how many times I have stood bolt upright out of bed with a leg cramp. Usually I can stretch them out in bed but have had to get up and walk them off.
Glad to hear it's not likely a clot.

Welcome to my world. Since transplant I am woken up at least 2-3 times a week with intense cramps.

Ugh... And the hits just keep coming...
Luke is feeling better except now he has phantom smells. He still can’t smell or taste things that are there, but occasionally he’ll smell something that isn’t...
“Did you guys get a pizza? Can I have some?”

“Did you guys get a pizza? Can I have some?”Hmmm, specifically noted thinking he had BO after having showered and put on deodorant...

Omg, leg cramps. I sometimes get them right above the back of my knee at night, and I have to wake Steve up to help because I can’t move and can’t get rid of them, so incredibly painful! Too much salt, dehydration, and sciatica seem to bring them on for me. And a bad one makes my leg sore for a couple of days.

There are few things as much fun as getting leg cramps when cycling when you're 10 miles from home.

Very sorry that D2 and family are going through this ordeal.
Best of luck to her.Me, too. I've been sick -- not covid, the usual crud that's been plaguing me for several years -- so I haven't followed this thread as energetically as I'd like. I admire your daughter's toughness and resilience.

Jeez, George, she just cannot get a break. I keep returning hoping for some good news here. That lingering stuff sounds just awful.
My boyfriend tested positive a few weeks back, and luckily got nothing worse than minor cold symptoms. I was sure I had it too, but tested negative. He got it from work. He works in close quarters, and a lot of his coworkers are lax with their mask usage, while he only takes his off to eat. He thought for sure everyone on his shift must have gotten it, too, but he was the only one.
