As the American Covid death toll rises, you have to wonder how Trump will ultimately be remembered.
It's unlikely to be for the ethnic cleansing of Kurds in Syria more's the pity.
Looking back he's going to be judged on his final year when over 300,000 Americans died

It's more likely that he'll be remembered for the millions who didn't die because of his swift, and brilliantly prescient, actions.

And for how much smarter he was than everyone who thought the 300,000 were somehow his fault.

I don't think Trump should be judged particularly harshly over Covid. He hasn't exactly shined as a beacon of incisive leadership in these dark times, but few have.

I think he might be remembered by many for his frankly odious personality. He's the only President in my lifetime who I would actively avoid having to meet in person.

Yeah, yeah, I know, TDS, TDS!!!! Doesn't mean he's not a cunt, though.

        I was only joking

Yes, I would agree. Trump is rarely polite and when he does try to be polite it comes across as obsequious insincerity.

          Elbows up!

The website @Axtremus lists at the top of this forum thread is pretty funny. An awfully about of work went into creating it.

It is pretty funny overall. 555

You don't get where Trump is in life by being an absolute asshole.

You are saying that assholes never get to lead countries or become rich? Plenty of names come to my mind who did that which I'd not hesitate to classify as assholes.

LOL. Boris has not been the most wonderful of leaders here, and I don't blame him for the virus either, any more or less than Trump. He will also be remembered short term, for the way he has politically 'handled' the pandemic and the science community. Much like this:
                    https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-03035-4

Ultimately it may all be down to numbers and the effects on society. I can barely remember what a twat Thatcher was, but then there's our coal mining industry, the Falklands War...
There's Twin Towers Bush, but who wil remember The Pet Goat?

That DJT Library is certainly amusing, up there with electing a lying draft dodger as POTUS.

Perhaps we can all agree on one thing, that Harris is the future of the greatest country in the world?

GK is right. The other lying draft dodger is still President/loser-elect at this point.

I believe the actual draft dodgers have been Bill Clinton and Joe Biden.

Like I implied, who the hell votes for a draft dodger as Commander in Chief?

At least some good old veterans had the guts to stand up and say something about it.
