Why isn't that organic?
And so what? Who cares if it is organic? I doubt if the demonstrators do.

So far perhaps. If one thinks people will tolerate being quarantined for much longer they better hope for compelling death data. I sense people are looking for the end of this and very soon.

I sense you're projecting. And what's funny is you seem to think lifting the quarantine is going to "end" anything.

I guess we will see. My reaction was authentic but perhaps I am biased. My gut tells me that even governors can’t withstand economic disaster. It will be fascinating to watch.

What do you think would happen if in a week, everyone goes back to work? Honestly, what do you think would happen to our health care system in the weeks that followed?

We know that won’t happen.
For one thing we know you won’t go back.
And you won’t be alone.

I don't find this fascinating to watch at all.

No need for me. Still working remotely, so the risk is both stupid and severe. For others who don't have that option, I totally get it, but guaranteed the R0 increases. The only questions are by how much, and can we avoid overwhelming the health care system.
MD is working on the quantitative steps it's outlined to try to take care of that. But it's going to take longer than what some would want.

I wonder if your attitude would be so cavalier if you were not still receiving an income.
I'd bet not.

Says someone who doesn't even have to consider working. If you had read other posts on this—which you haven't—you'd know my job security is very fragile.
LD asked us earlier what we'd do about a reopening plan. Why don't you actually go and read that thread before you start making shit up about my position.

Pro-Second Amendment people tend to be pretty picky about their rights. They also tend to be people who are not happy with government telling them what to do.

Now, I sense you're projecting. You have no idea what I read or don't.
You wanna stay home? Fine. Stay home. But don't assume other people share your opinion. They don't.

Okay, what's my idea then? You don't know, do you? I have a plan I threw up about how to do this safely. You have no idea what I'm talking about because no, you haven't read it. It wasn't "everybody stay home."
