          Or, you could this.

(Probably could have use better advertising words, especially this year!)

This is what we're going to do. It's from a place down the street.

Frankly, I don't feel like cooking. It's going to be small: D3, D4, SIL and the two of us.

(how much turkey do I need?)

I am fussing. Steveโ€™s parents are driving over(just the four of us) and Iโ€™m cooking the same meal weโ€™ve had since we started doing this however many years ago.

I'm picking up our Thanksgiving dinner prepared at The Golden Lamb. It's the least I could do since I cancelled our reservation for 8. They serve a Thanksgiving dinner as an entree year round and it is outstanding.

Menu: (Plus we added on their banana cream pie which is TO DIE FOR.)

                  Legendary Sauerkraut Balls
                  with Cocktail Sauce (8 each)
                  Golden Lamb Romaine Wedge Salad
fresh romaine lettuce, candied pecans, green apples, smoked cheddar cheese,
                  creamy balsamic dressing
                  Slow Roasted Turkey Breast
sliced and ready to heat and serve
                  2-Day Turkey Gravy
                  Herb-Cheese Mashed Potatoes
                  Sage-Sausage & Apple Stuffing
                  Fall Vegetable Succotash
sweet corn, lima beans, carrots, green beans, bell peppers, onions, garlic, parsley
                  Cranberry-Orange Chutney
                  Yeast Rolls & Apple Butter
                  Fresh-Baked Whole Pumpkin Pie

Cooking the big dinner is much of the fun.

Weโ€™re doing it for the three of us. Sure, weโ€™ll have leftovers.

I would be glad to cook a big dinner but for the fact that my family likes the traditional dinner and I hate cooking turkeys. If they'd go for some good old Pilgrim Prime Rib or Duck Breasts Squanto I'd be all over it.

Hmm.. since only you and the Missus can drink that does limit the potential combatants.
