@Jolly The problem is that the whole virus thing in the US has become so political that probably about 40% of the people will not follow whatever the plan is.
And, those 40% can make things difficult for 100% of the people.

If only we had followed the European way!
I would say to follow the asian way. 555
100% mask wearing
social distancing
detailed contact tracing
making sure people follow quarantine even if they feel wellThe countries that have been most successful have, in a way, placed a "bubble" around the whole country.
It sounds good in theories, but I am not sure that it would be possible in the US.
There has to be 100% of the people following the rules. If 80% do, and 20% dont, it will fail.

Yes, Trump likes to remind us that he imposed restriction on foreigners traveling from mainland China effective 2020-02-02. Little did he know that SARS-CoV-2 would now infect us more than it does the Asians. Looks like the racist SARS-CoV-2 is giving them Asians countries the MFN treatment. We Americans do not need such a favor from SARS-CoV-2 because we love freedom, right?

Most major problems in America are at least partially dealt with by having large marches through major cities.
I think we need a Million March Against Covid protest organized.

Agree. But I also think that countries can learn from each other. Learn from both the best things, and the worst.

To be fair, Jolly's been calling for a rather Chinese solution to the problems of bias in social media, so he is learning from other cultures.
(I'm kidding, Jolly)

Inspired by the vagina headgear favoured by some on previous marches, might I suggest a huge knob that could be attached to the marchers heads. It would help provide a fairly accurate description of the typical protester.

As long as you staff it it'll probably be ok.
