If 2020 were a euphemism...

It's not just conservatives who are sick of being told how stupid and awful they are.
And you can't just lay the blame for all this bullshit on liberals.

Okay, you have two separate points there. Care to flesh them out more? Why do you think those two are true?
I'm serious. I'd feel better if I could be proven wrong about my position on this but I don't have the evidence for it and I've been looking pretty damn hard. Including on here.
-
Seriously, have you never seen any abuse doled out to liberals here?
Deport them, lock them up, sign of mental illness, traitors, hate America, not real Americans, enemies of the people, etc. etc. I don't generally take it seriously, but it gets pretty fucking tiresome.
I could go on, but to be honest I'm getting a little sick of it. I've got leaves to rake, and it's clear when people start pointing out my country of birth, and tell me to STFU because I'm not eligible to vote that my opinions aren't actually welcome.

I see it here, yeah. No, I don't like it at all. But I don't see it anywhere else.
I hear white-conservative bashing from friends, family, through Facebook even though I'm not even on fucking Facebook, in my office and on LinkedIn. Daily basis.
I'm on Instagram to learn about a skill, not share breakfast photos. Everyone I follow on there posts updates related and only related to their work. And now even that place is flooded with "Trump supporters hate blacks" horseshit.
I could go on, but to be honest I'm getting a little tired of it. I've got leaves to rake, and it's clear when people start pointing out my country of birth, and tell me to STFU because I'm not eligible to vote that my opinions aren't actually welcome.
Meh. I didn't say that and don't think that. Marketplace of ideas, man. Honestly I think hearing from folks outside the American politics echo chamber is about the best thing for us all at the moment.

Then don't snipe and come in with something constructive. My give-a-damn filter is currently busted.
As for voting, I've told you multiple times to fill out the appropriate papers, take your oath and suffer with the rest of us.

Mr. Trump is going to need money to start his new cable network.
I have had at least a dozen emails a day for the last week from Mr. Trump asking for money.
I've heard that 50% of donations made towards his legal cases at the moment are likely to be used to pay of his campaign debts.

I've lived here for nearly 18 years. Lookit, I've probably even picked up a few of the locals wicked habits. Of course, they can take away my life, but they can't take away my accent!

I still have to pick your brain later about how to be a wanker from London. Not quite sure how to do that properly. I wish there was a Skillshare on it.

Nah, you lived on the East Coast. You need to live in America awhile...

One does not simply walk into Mordor.

I think you'd be surprised. We're a friendly, religious bunch, with an amazing amount of tolerance for the eccentric. Mind your manners, though. Don't you ever talk about anybody's mama or their dog. And don't spit on anybody's porch.
Oh, and consider most any person you meet, to be carrying a gun or to at least have one in the car.

The fact that you even have to say that makes me wonder.

What if I said to somebody 'I feel compelled to tell you that your mother is even more attractive than your dog!'?
Surely, there'd be no harm in that?

Depends on what the dog looks like...

I worked over on Dorchester Ave near Savin Hill for a couple summers. We used to go over to Castle Island in Southie at lunch and sneak a few beers. We figured we were old enough. I marched there on St. Patrick's Day several times. A beautiful place.

Castle Island
Back when we were allowed outside we used to have our mid-year celebrations near there - we'd all get on a boat and they'd do circuits while we attempted to purloin free drinks tickets. It is a very nice area.
