Can we try to tone it down a little?

I get it, your guy (won/lost). You are (ecstatic/pissed), and with good reason. However, all of the (gloating/insults) are making you look a little small as a person and is doing your side no good.
So why don't we chill? The state legislators/courts/electors will all have their say. It will be interesting and informative to watch and relay the various news articles, tweets, videos, etc... as it all plays out, but let's try to remember that there are real people on the opposite side that DO deserve respect (whether you think so or not).

I recall nearly identical posts from you in 2008 and 2012.
I donāt recall one in 2016.
For my part I will poke fun at Trump incessantly until he concedes, and then only opportunistically after that.
For the most part Iām trying not to criticize his supporters directly. Iāve deleted several comments right after making them for that very reason. Yet I know itās a goal I havenāt fully achieved.

That may be your decision, but as I said before, the extent to which you are taking it is not a flattering look on you.

Mik - youād have more credibility with these types of statements if they didnāt always have the same political valence.

Political outlook has nothing to do with it. You have denied TDS for four years and you try to position yourself as open-minded, an honest broker if you will. Your behavior in the past few days gives lie to all of that. I would expect some of it, but you are carrying it too far.
Carry on as you will. It's not hurting me, but I think it may be hurting your credibility.

Nothing wrong with poking fun at politicians, but I'd restrict it to those instances that are actually funny.

You want to be reasonable, people can be reasonable. You want to burn the place down and I'll go hunt some gas and hand you a box of matches.

I for one thought that the Four Seasons fiasco was hilarious, although admittedly it distracted people from Rudy's eloquence and integrity.

Just to remind everyone of what happens when you spit up in the air. Dems are pretty used to sloppy rhetoric and itās a new day where that crap wonāt fly.

Are you attempting to win the Mixed Metaphor of the Day Award?

Well, 2008 and 2012 was a pattern. Not so much 2016. So it makes sense to deviate in your thoughts in 2016. Trump was not just another politician. I think maybe we can all agree on that.

Also, gloating is a hell of a lot more fun than being as mad as a hatter who's just discovered that all his hats have inexplicably shrunk in the wash.

The Four Seasons thing is hilarious! Have at it! I don't mind humor. It's the personal insults that are pissing me off.

Oh my God, is Trump planning on going out like Jim Jones? Somebody needs to stop him - and not just for the sake of Hope Hicks! There are at least 2-3 other people worth saving!
