The Lincoln Project

Just an observation...The Twitterverse of Dems is already starting to dump them, as the Left Wing of the party hates them. Useful Idiots, they were.
They can't come back to the GOP, as many in the party would love to line them up against a wall and have them shot as traitors.
Ah, the webs we weave...Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys...

Maybe a third party??

I doubt the Lincoln Project people did what they did to get the Democrats’ love. Had you told them the Democrats will never love them, they would not have cared. They did not and still do not love the Democrats. They did it because they believe Trump was (still is) taking the Republican Party astray. If the Republican Party continues to embrace (what they think is) Trumpism, they will continue to resist and rebel anyway.
Depends on how the Republican Party rid itself of Trumpism, the Lincoln Project people may return to the GOP or start third party.
Either way, they followed their consciences and I wish them well.

Let me clue you in...Your wishful thinking that Trumpism is over is most definitely nothing but wishful thinking. The GOP has been transformed. They've found new voters and I think some of the silliness a Biden presidency will provide, will birth even more.
The race that probably bothers me most of all was the Michigan Senate race. That's a direct result of Trumpism and the guy came oh-so-close.

You misunderstood.
I was saying that the Lincoln Project and the Democratic Party do not care for each other, not beyond the defeat of Trump anyway.
If Trumpism stays with the GOP, that just means the Democrats get to continue to run against Trump for a while longer; this may be good for the Democrat’s electoral prospects.

Let’s see whether, comes 2024, whether the Republicans will re-nominate Donald Trump, or if they do not, whether the Republican Presidential nominee will want Donald Trump or the Trump kids to campaign with him/her.
(Hey @Mik , if Nikki Haley is nominated for 2024, do you think she will want Donald Trump or any of the Trump kids to campaign with her?)
If the GOP does not nominate Trump in 2024 and the GOP nominee then also do not want Donald Trump or any of the Trump kids to campaign with him/her, you will then that the GOP has distanced itself from Trumpism.
My expectation is that the GOP’s 2024 nominee will avoid the Trumps like McCain and Romney avoided the Bushes.
(@Mik, you can imagine Nikki Haley avoiding the Trumps in 2024, right?)

Oh, I can't wait for 2022..I think the GOP can ride Trumpism to a House majority.
