@kluurs said in GWB's comments on the outcome of the election.:

of President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris – and the best of us all. We must come together for the sake of our families and neighbors, and for our nation and its future. There is no problem that will not yield to the gathered will of a free people

It's good to know you two guys are praying for Mr. Trump.

I was really uninterested in the man that GWB is when he contributed to the "systemic racism" narrative in the wake of the Floyd incident.

      Education is extremely important.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I'm so old I remember when anybody who criticised the Iraq war as Trump has done was branded a traitor.

          I was only joking

Yes, that was when they realized they could do to Trump what they did to Trump.

And as long as they all hung together they didn't hang separately.

I too recall that epithet being cast about. Quite frequently I might add.

I was for the Iraq war. I still think it was necessary. Saddam was stuffing people into crusher/grinders and feeding the meat to the victim's family, grabbing innocent women on the street, gang raping them, and then killing the ones who lived through it. But the Iraq war was over in a couple of weeks. I do not and never did support the nation building nonsense the occurred after the actual war had been won.

The neocons hoodwinked me hook line and sinker. I learned a lot from that experience.

I haven't changed my mind about Iraq. Or Afghanistan.

And there will be no honeymoon. My fervent hope is for a Special Counsel to investigate Biden's influence peddling.

Assuming the GOP holds the Senate, can that happen?

Because, if they don't, it's not going to happen.

                        I think it can.

No Republican has lost a Senate race in Georgia, since the statement red. Chances of both guys losing in the runoff are astronomical...But you'll still have the thieves of Fulton County piling ballots...
