Looks like the GOP is going to gain some ground in the house, perhaps up to 200? That'll make them a much more formidable minority.

Senate will remain GOP controlled, with Collins, Graham, McConnell winning, and Bullock losing in Montana. I wonder if Schumer will still talk about eliminating the legislative filibuster, LOL.

Schumer can still talk about eliminating the legislative filibuster because the Democratic controlled House can stop any legislation the Dems dislike.

That's been the case for a long time. If your analysis were correct, Schumer wouldn't have harped on it in the last few weeks. He probably doesn't see it your way.

Schumer was harping on eliminating legislative filibuster to deny Senate GOP a procedural tool to stop legislations that the Democrats like.

So the Senate stays Republican (likely 52-48), that should keep things pretty much at a standstill until 2022.

            Time to start midterms....

Mitch McConnell might remain in charge of the upper chamber, retaining his role as arguably the most consequential politician in Washington. In that case Biden would be the first president in 32 years to come into office without control of Congress, another dynamic that would weaken claims of a mandate.

The GOP will retake the house in 2022, if Biden is elected. I do think he will crash the economy. The GOP will retain control of the Senate in 2022.

James is up 10K in Michigan.

How many seats did the Republicans pick up in the house? Are they in shouting distance for 22?

Yes. It’s still the same issue with mail in ballots.

Wishful thinking for sure. But the spanking Pelosi seems to have taken could make her have to save her title. Will be fascinating to see what Americans were thinking if GOP does make up bunches of seats. I can think of one- impeachment.

Looks like James goes down. Mail-in ballots.

@Jolly Definitely within recount range, and you can use that to begin the heavy lifting for double checking these mail in ballots.
