I used Expensify, and it’s fine. I neither hate it nor love it. It’s just another tool that get certain things done. I haven’t use it for quite a while because there has not been much billable/expensible “business travel” due to the COVID-19 pandemic. When “business travel” picks up again, I would have no problem using it again.
As for “get woke, go broke,” there is nothing wrong about valuing one’s beliefs and morals more that material possessions. There is no lack of religions and philosophies that teach one to prioritize righteousness over monetary gains.

You’re right, there is nothing wrong with that. There is a helluva lot wrong with using your company’s client list to proselytize your beliefs. There is a right and expectation on their part to only be contacted for actual business related activities.

Those who prioritize righteousness tend to be an unholy mix of real sociopaths, who know exactly what they are prioritizing, and normal people who lack the self awareness to know that they are only prioritizing their social status. Their value as a friend and as a friender.
