I've always considered Biden to be a place-holder for the next generation of Democrat. Whether that is someone like AOC or Harris I don't know. However, the fact that he picked Harris (a woman who dropped out of the race before the first primary) is telling.

I didn't get past the 'Biden is a far-left liberal' claim.
Where I grew up our lefties were proper lefties, and they didn't call themselves bloody liberals, either.
