    Didn't happen, of course.

I got an email from the CSO saying that all performances through the end of March have been cancelled.

Since I paid for a year's subscription, the cancelled concert money goes into my account, and I can apply it to future performances. Come March, it'll be time to renew my subscription, and I'll use that "banked" money for another year. I don't want to lose my excellent seat!

    Dear Mr. K,

On behalf of the entire Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association, we want to thank you for your continued support of our organization and for your patience as we navigate these extraordinary circumstances relating to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, your loyalty and generosity are integral to the future of all of our programs when Symphony Center opens once again.

In light of the ongoing restrictions, as well as the health and safety of our audiences, musicians, visiting artists and staff, all CSOA-presented 2020/21 season programs originally scheduled to take place from January 7 through March 30, 2021, have been canceled.

If you have been affected by a cancellation, the value of your canceled concert tickets has already been added to your account, which now has a balance of $XXX.00 and is available for you to use. On-account funds can be used towards the purchase of future concerts and premium content on CSOtv, such as episodes of CSO Sessions available only for a limited time. You can also donate the value of your tickets to the CSOA as part of the Music Ahead campaign and receive a tax donation receipt. If you’re unsure of how you would like to proceed, please feel free to discuss additional options with Patron Services at 312-294-3000 or chat with us at cso.org.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
