    I wonder how they feel about it now with hiring of 175,000 jobs at Amazon.

        The 175,000 number is the wrong one one to cite for the "NYC location." Those are warehouse/logistics jobs that need to be spread all over the country.
        The number you want to focus on is the 20K or so tech/management jobs that would be more likely to have higher concentration in Amazon's "HQ2".

          Well it wasn’t 175k jobs in NY of course. But the structural shift of retail and jobs of course when there are none for gig workers. None of this Covid was knowable but just probably stings a lot more now.
